　　Using don’t / doesn’t: negatives（使用don’t/doesn’t: 否定句）

　　● For a negative statement, add don’t (for I, you, we, they) or doesn’t (for he, she, it) in front of the verb.［在动词前加don’t ( 如主语是I，you，we 和they 时) 或者doesn’t ( 当主语是he，she 和it 时)，那么这个句子就变成了否定句。］

　　e.g.（例如） I don’t like playing tennis. She doesn’t eat meat.

　　● BUT: If the verb is am, are, is, or can, add not after the verb instead.（但是反之，如果动词是am，are，is 或者can 的时候，否定句要在这些动词后面加not。）

　　e.g.（例如） She isn’t very happy. We can’t swim.

　　(“not” can be shortened to “-n’t” for all of these verbs except “am”.

　　“I am not” can be shortened to “I’m not”.)（除了am 外的所有动词在用not 构成否定句的时候，not 可以简写为n’t。“I am not” 可以简写为“I’m not”。）
