作者简介：VERITY CAMPBELL：Introductory chapters, istanbul, Directory, Transport Straight after high school Verity visited Turkey and ended up staying for 18 months, learning the language, teaching English and hitchhiking throughout the country. She crisscrossed Australia and Turkey for the next 15 years until she finally persuaded both husband and toddler they'd enjoy a year in Jstanbul. Verity has worked for six years as an author for Lonely Planet in various countries, but no prizes for guessing where her heart lies. As well as coordinating and authoring on this book, Verity has authored the Istanbul Encounter guide, several chapters in Turkey 8, and the Turkey chapter for Mediterranean Europe and Europe on a shoestring.
